Water World Opens May 25
As the summer heat sets in, Water World welcomes guests and thrill-seekers to cool off and enjoy the water as the season kicks off May 25.
Colorado’s first and largest water park is set to open May 25, celebrating their 45th anniversary season this Memorial Day Weekend. With Denver PrideFest right around the corner, Water World may be the perfect addition for visitors coming to Denver this June.
The Hyland Hills Water World is recognized as “one of the best and largest waterparks in the nation with more than 50 thrilling and unique attractions across 70 beautiful acres. Water World is community-owned and operated by the Hyland Hills Park and Recreation District and has hosted more than 15 million guests since its opening in 1979. ”
Annually, nearly half-a-million visit Water World to find the thrills and chills of their 52 attractions. The park has recently been ranked the #2 Top Water Park in the Country by Newsweek and the #7 Outdoor Water Park by USA Today.
The park offers a six-story waterslide for those looking to for an extra dose of excitement, delicious summer foods (funnel cakes included) to satisfy sweet tooths, and a lazy river for those wanting to relax and go with the flow.
