WATCH: Get off the Grind

Cool Kid Adjacent, comprised of of two LA-based sketch artists Kevin Grant Spencer and Matthew Ludwinski, are trying to make a name for themselves.

Describing themselves as just left of cool, Cool Kid Adjacent have taken their efforts to YouTube with a video that comments on how gay men use Grindr. It’s hilarious. Trust us.

“On January 31, 2016 the unthinkable happened…Grindr crashed for 28 hours.”

The premise is simple. Grindr goes down, and men have to find other ways to connect with tricks after watching the end of Pretty Woman. So they venture out into the real world, where they are exposed to a whole slew of men walking throughout the gayborhood.

It’s a commentary on how we use our phones to replace human interaction, especially when it comes to cruising for gay men.
