WATCH: Carmen Carrera gives a crash course on trans women

Last month, Bustle released a video in which Carmen Carrera, a trans woman, advocate, and former contestant on RuPaul’s Drag Race, gives the world a crash course on trans women.

The video is short and simple, and touches on some of the day to day issues that trans women face. In her lesson, Carrera talks about using the proper pronouns, being a women despite her lack of uterus, dating, sex, and privacy.
