“Top Model” Features First Deaf Contestant … And He’s Hot!

It’s the show that never seems to end. By now most of us are familiar with “America’s Next Top Model,” right?

This week Tyra and the producers over at The CW launched cycle 22 of the long-running show, and this year we met the show’s first ever hearing-impaired contestant, Nyle DiMarco … and he’s smokin’ hot.

The Maryland native rarely uses an interpreter during shoots, relying instead on lip-reading, body gestures and texting on his phone to communicate. DiMarco admits, though, that in the past photographers have questioned his ability, “but they have been proven wrong—and even impressed.”

I hope he’s around for the duration, but if not … I know a boney but very comfortable shoulder that he can come cry on.
