The Dinah Celebrates their 31st Anniversary

This September, The Dinah will be celebrating its 31st anniversary! The Dinah is the biggest annual festival specifically for queer women. This year they are continuing to celebrate queer voices by incorporating LGBTQ history while uplifting the voices of new queer artists. Their lineup celebrates queerness across generations, from 80s pop icon Taylor Dayne to breakout artists like Fletcher.

The festival is coming to Palm Springs in the legendary hotel The Margaritaville (formerly known as The Riviera). The Dinah is known for their amazing parties and celebrations. The festival has hosted artists like Lizzo, Lady Gaga, Tegan and Sarah, and Katy Perry, and this year’s lineup features amazing new artists.

Fletcher, who is known for singles like “girls, girls, girls,” “Bitter,” and “Her Body is Bible,” is The Dinah’s Saturday headliner. Fletcher has been nominated for GLAAD’s Media Award for Outstanding Breakthrough Music Artist, and her debut album will be released just a few weeks before the festival.

The 80s icon Taylor Dayne will be The Dinah’s Saturday headliner. Dayne is known for hits like “Tell It to My Heart,” “Love Will Lead You Back,” “I’ll Always Love You,” and many more. The Grammy-nominated artist once wrote a love letter to the LGBTQ community. Dayne has always celebrated the community and has performed at Pride Month events since the 80s.

The Dinah lineup also features artists like emerging alt-pop star Zolita. Zolita has performed at LA Pride, and now she’s ready to take The Dinah stage. Haviah Mighty, IV4, Cassidy King, and Sienna Liggins are all on the lineup as well, and we can’t wait to see what these fantastic artists have in store. The festival will also host pool parties, their Black and White Ball, celebrity meet and greets, and vendor fairs will be held all weekend.

Mark your calendars for September 23-25 to celebrate The Dinah’s 31st anniversary in Palm Springs. To get more information on the festival and purchase tickets visit The Dinah website.
