The Boulet Brothers’ New EP is Freaky Fun

Get ready for a fang-tastic good time with the new EP The Boulet Brothers Halloween House Party. Made to sound like it’s being played on an old record player, the new EP launches October 4, just in time for spooky season.

The Boulet Brothers, individually Dracmorda and Swanthula, have always had a deep love for the terrifying holiday. The two are the first drag queens to have a holiday TV special, Dragula. Much of their music is centered on Halloween, and this EP will only add to their repertoire of frightening, fun-filled melodies. In regards to the EP, the Brothers state, “We are both obsessed with classic, vintage Halloween decorations, sets, costumes, parties, music, etc., and this EP is our love letter to all that gory goodness.”

Their love for vintage Halloween comes through immediately in the first song released off of the EP, “All Hallow’s Eve.” With classic ghostly moans, old-timey vocals, and a riveting bassline, you’ll wish you were at a Halloween party even in September. The love they have for the holiday can be felt as they sing, “I wish every night could be/ like All Hallow’s Eve.” Produced by Tomas Costanza and Ashley Gordon, it’s an immediate add to any solid Halloween playlist.

Best known for their TV show Dragula, Dracmorda and Swanthula have been the Queens of Halloween for a long time. Dragula is a drag competition centered on horror, inviting queens to compete in costuming, special effects makeup, and acting. The Season Six cast was recently announced, and the show can be watched on AMC+ and Shudder.  The two have also been dubbed “Horror’s New Icons” on the volume two cover of Fangoria Magazine. They were also the first drag queens to be nominated for a prime-time Emmy Award for their makeup skills.
