From time-to-time, especially during those most challenging moments, we all ask ourselves this question. It is part of our deepest existential concerns and at the same time, so often has very shallow answers. It is so very easy to come up with all the “doing” responses, right? I am here to be a friend, a father, a lover, a co-worker, a this, a that or the other thing.
It is also a huge honor to be recognized by our GLBT brothers and sisters as two people who attempt to set an example of living life in unity, not in separation.
