Rezz and Dove Cameron: LGBTQ Baddies on the Rise
These queer icons have band together to kick ass and take names. EDM Artist Rezz, more commonly known by her ‘Cult’ of “Rezzbians” as “Space Mom,” crushed the stage at HARD Summer in Southern California this past weekend with ex-Disney Star/Singer Dove Cameron, along with Photographer Tessa Paisan.
While Rezz has openly dated women for years, her sexuality remains on fans’ minds. Back in 2017, she poked fun at her sexuality by tweeting “Someone asked me ‘Are you A gay?’ And we all r dying.” And again in April 2021, a fan tweeted “Rezz is gay?” to which she replied, “Bro, In the dictionary where it says ‘gay’ it should just be a Photo of me, no description needed.”
Over quarantine, she shared a short-filled romance that fizzled out as quickly as it started with fellow a EDM DJ. When things ended, it had fans in a frenzy jumping to protect the heart of their queen, but Rezz is onto bigger and better things these days in her personal and professional career. She’s giving fans life by teasing them with her and Dove’s charismatic relationship, leaving them to speculate that a new romance could be in the mix.

Dove Cameron, on the other hand, just recently came out as bisexual and revealed in an interview with Gay Times that she’s “super queer,” adding, “I’ve hinted about my sexuality for years while being afraid to spell it out for everybody.” She even hopped on her Instagram Live to clear things up for fans, saying, “Guys, I really needed to explain something to you. Maybe I haven’t said it, but I’m super queer. This is something I want to represent through my music because it’s who I am.”
The saucy duo of Rezz x Dove, released a music video for “Taste of You” directed by Felicity Heath during Pride Month. Their spellbinding tune plays as they wander through the smoke of a car crash. Finally, the two find their way to one another and share a lustfully steamy and romantic make-out sesh with some lip biting to get the queers going. In regard to the music video, Rezz said “I felt like I got to be an actor for a day, which was a lot of fun. Dove and I got on amazing, and we had the best time, actually. And the kiss scene, well … it sorta speaks for itself,” leaving the gays to go wild on Twitter.

Tessa Paisan, aka ‘Miss Tiddy,’ is a genderfluid, L.A.-based photographer who dabbles in music expression themself. This talented, androgynous human is known for their stunning, bisexual lighting imagery. In the past, they shot many events for notable DJs within the scene including Liquid Stranger, Zeds Dead, Sullivan King, Blunts & Blondes, and, of course, their bestie Rezz to name a few. Their first single ‘Watch Me’ features additional queer artists Gardella and Wreckno who came out within the COVID months, becoming a bisexual anthem to reckon with.
Nowadays, they’re focusing on getting back out in the festival and event shooting life. And what better way to break out of COVID than capturing Rezz and Dove obliterate the stage at HARD summer. Rezz claimed her performance at Hard Summer “Was one of the best moments of my entire career.”
