Revelations at Union Hall’s Oracle Art Exhibition

Oracle at Union Hall

Experience a revelation at the spectacular Oracle art exhibition, coming to Denver’s Union Hall May 9 – July 26. The experiential Oracle presents art as a guiding vehicle for introspection, experimentation, and reflection. Rather than simply viewing the work, visitors are invited to engage with them as oracular tools. Ask questions. Seek insight. Explore personal meaning.

Colorado-based woman artists Yazz Atmore, Faatma Be Oné, Linda Bishara, Rebecca Peebles, Sarah Tenney, and Harriet Woodman come together to present their spiritual and creative journey through their exhibition. Some of the works on display were created by the act of divine channeling, while others explore life lessons through mediums including ceramics, installation, collage, drawing, painting, and more. Come heal and play along through the work of the Oracle artists.

Across cultures and religions, oracles have been consulted during personal and political contemplation, decision-making, and prophecy.

“Carl Jung believed that oracles, like the I Ching and tarot, function through the principle of synchronicity, meaningful coincidences that reveal hidden connections between the psyche and the external world,” Hernandez explains. “He saw these systems not as tools for predicting the future, but as ways to access the unconscious mind, offering symbolic guidance that aligns with the seeker’s inner state. In this way, oracles serve as mirrors, reflecting what we may already know deep within but have yet to consciously recognize.”

Located at Union Hall, a nonprofit, non-commercial art space that highlights emergent voices and promises equitable opportunities for artists, Oracle will also offer special guided tours every Saturday from 1-4 p.m. where visitors can make reservations to move through the gallery blindfolded and positioned in front of each artwork by volunteers. Once visitors land on an artwork that resonates with them, they can remove their blindfold to contemplate if it holds insight to a question or thoughts the visitor has posed to themselves.

Exhibition on view: May 9 – July 26, 2025
Gallery hours: Wednesday – Saturday 12-6pm
Curator tour and artist talk: June 26 6-7:30pm
