Queer Erotic Poetry in Boulder
Does a night of sexy, erotic queer poetry and stories sound like an appetizing way to kick off Valentine’s Day? Well then, this may be the perfect slam to attend.
If you are an adult in need of some queer poems that will do more than knock your socks off, a Queer Erotic Poetry Event is happening Saturday, February 10 from 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Junkyard Social Club in Boulder, Colorado.
The event is described as “a curated evening celebrating local poets and storytellers looking to turn you on,” and if that doesn’t sell you on it, we don’t know what will.
Doors will be opening at 7:30 p.m., and the event itself will run from 8 to 10 p.m. at the Junkyard Social Club in Boulder.
Tickets will be 15$ each and can be purchased here for those who want to secure their spot in advance of the event.
This event is 18+, and guest are encouraged, if comfortable, to wear what makes them feel sexy, whatever that means to them. Leather is always a good option, but the outfit opportuntities are truly endless. And if gray sweatpants are more your style, then wear those sweats proudly because sweatpants are sexy, too.
Come support local queer poets, and kick off cupid’s month with some sexy poems and stories that are sure to take your breath away in more ways than one. The writing scene in Boulder may be blooming, but continually supporting queer artists ensures that our voices are preserved and heard.
Aimee Herman will be hosting the event, and seven poets and storytellers will be featured. These performers include Eli Whittington, Doc Martin, Tyler Hurula, D.L. Cordero, Aerik Francis, Mahogany Imani, and Jona Fine.
Put the date on your calendar because this group will surely leave you feelings the powers of the Valentine season.
