Night of the Nine Realms: Fantasy Ball Coming to HQ Denver!

The incredible creators of Danu’s Wardrobe, a Denver-based bookstore pop-up and event company, are kicking off their first annual fantasy ball this September: Night of the Nine Realms! This event aims to bring the community together for a night inspired by beloved fantasy books and stories.

At HQ Denver on September 5, the venue will be “transformed and transported beyond the mortal realm for a night of decadence, indulgence, and revelry!”

Night of the Nine Realms offers ballroom dancing lessons (starting at 7:05 p.m.), burlesque performances, an immersive storyline to carry visitors through the night, and on-theme vendors, drinks, and even a food truck and dessert vendor! Other community-building activities that are planned for the night include charm-bracelet crafting and Nerf archery.

Of course, there is more to this event for the VIP guests, such as a gift bag and themed novel from Danu’s Wardrobe, a trinket from The Haunted Housewife, access to a free extra activity, a free raffle ticket, and other surprises from vendors and performers.

Night of the Nine Realms is supported by three incredible local sponsors, including Foolish Endeavors Photography, Peachy Queen Creatives, and DJ Andron Anomaly. It’s also supported by Haunted House Wife Lexi Lulu, the production assistant.

Building a strong local community is always important, especially in a time where it’s easy to feel so isolated (and for queer/non-conforming people, downright unsafe). Night of the Nine Realms will be a step beyond just getting lost in a book and being whisked away to another world painted with words in the mind; this event will bring those stories to life and build that much-needed sense of community, creating a mystical space of peace and connection for all to enjoy!

As this is a community event, guests are reminded to tip the performers, photographers, and bar staff.
