Femme Fatale Intimates Teams Up With RU Entertainment for Dynasty II at Reelworks

The story of Angel Mac and the blossoming of her intimate apparel brand Femme Fatale Intimates reads like a modern-day “woman determined to rise” story. What started as a modest online shop in 2012 has steadily grown into the most well-respected and sought-out intimate apparel brand in Denver. Having a quick conversation with Angel, the owner, and visionary behind the brand, will reveal why.

It is true that a powerful story carries with it a certain essence of potent resonance. With Femme Fatale Intimates, Angel humbly yet confidently navigates the challenges and pitfalls of entrepreneurship while also providing a motivating example to other local budding designers and entrepreneurs. Working several jobs, in the beginning, to support herself as a single mother, Angel took a leap of faith and opened an online shop that is now the Dynasty of Femme Fatale Intimates. It comes as no surprise, then, that Femme Fatale has garnered the support of the community since expanding into the downtown location off of Broadway in Denver.

After modeling and designing for Denver Fashion Week, Angel identified blind spots in the industry where there was a true lack of representation and visibility. During our chat, she reflected on how it opened her eyes to how she wanted to represent adult fashion and intimate apparel in the industry. This desire is the driving factor behind the Dynasty Fashion Show series that has become a labor of love for Angel and Femme Fatale Intimates.

The inspiration behind the Dynasty Burlesque Fashion Show Experience is the community that is part of the support network of local entertainers, artists, and models. Involved in this year’s show production is a local entertainment agency and event planner RU Entertainment. Owned by Michael “Rufio” Jimenez, Angel has worked with RU Entertainment on several events in the years that they’ve known one another. This year, Femme Fatale Intimates, RU Entertainment, and Reelworks bring together the Dynasty Fashion Show featuring a Neon Miami Burlesque Fashion Show.

This event will include live performances from community favorites, pop-up vendors, singers, aerial performances, and much more. All the while, audiences can view a showcase of the newest lingerie and swimwear collections. Local lady DJ Cyn will be spinning everyone’s favorite 90s hip-hop, R&B, and house music, providing an undoubtedly epic dance party.
