Envision:You Welcomes New Board Members

Envision:You

Envision:You welcomes two new board members to their force! Chase Huddleston and MJ, or Maleeka Jihad, have joined the team. These members will begin their tenure on January 1.

Chase Huddleston, who uses he/him pronouns, has had over 10 years of experience in real estate, and therefore knows what he is doing when it comes to making buying and selling a home. Huddleston is a member of Capitol Hill United Neighborhoods and ProVisors, and therefore is a team player when it comes to building community. Huddleston is an active volunteer and fundraiser, and is involved in local nonprofits and advocacy groups, such as Mile High United Way, Envision:You, and One Colorado. Just as he is dedicated to building an equitable environment for all cultures, Huddleston is also involved in local foundations of art and sciences, such as the History Colorado Center, Denver Museum of Contemporary Art, and the Denver Botanic Gardens.

MJ, or Maleeka Jihad, who uses she/they pronouns, is a pillar of equity, being that they are the director of MJ Consulting and the nonprofit organization MJCF: Coalition, which works on the removal of systemic racism in the child welfare system through education, policy reform, and advocacy. Recently, MJ became the new director of Family Justice Programming with the ORPC or Office of Respondent Parent Council, where she provides consultations and training to professionals, pertaining to race, culture, and community within the child welfare system. MJ continues her goal of educating people for a brighter future as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Denver Graduate School of Social work, where they teach race, privilege, therapy, social justice, leadership, and child and family law courses.

Steven Haden, the CEO of Envision:You, stated, “We’re honored to have MJ and Chase join the Envision:You board. They’re both exceptional leaders who bring a wealth of experience, passion and knowledge to our cause of improving the behavioral health for members of the LGBTQ+ community.”

Envision:You is the parent company of You:Flourish, an LGBTQ health and wellness app that will be launching in 2023.
