Chappell Roan’s “The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess” performance was full of queer joy. Local drag queens Dr. Zackarina, Mikki Miraj, and Rubye Moore opened Roan’s Denver performance on September 29 with energy, sass, and glamour, and crowned audience member Hunter Gromala for the best outfit of the night. Roan embodied her theme, “My Kink is Karma,” and lit up the stage with her impressive vocal prowess and seductive, magnetic energy.
