In true Breakaway fashion, the festival not only champions big-name performers but also stays true to its roots by supporting local talent. Bay Area acts Dathma and Trillmar will take the stage, adding a hometown vibe to the weekend’s festivities. “We’re excited to return to the Bay Area for the third time and end this season on a high note in such a legendary venue like the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium,” says Breakaway Music Festival co-founder Adam Lynn. “This is the first year Breakaway lands on Halloween weekend, so our team is thrilled to bring a unique experience to our fans and everyone involved with this event.”

Breakaway’s cultural pillar is not only about delivering top-tier music but also creating a community atmosphere. With Bay Area local artists in the lineup and partnerships with brands like Another Planet Entertainment, this year’s event will blend world-class music with the vibrant culture of San Francisco.

What sets Breakaway apart from other festivals is its dedication to creating an immersive and engaging fan experience. This year, the Halloween theme will be woven into every element of the festival, from the stage design to the visual effects, promising an eerie and exciting backdrop for the weekend’s festivities.

The Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, an iconic San Francisco venue with its rich history, will be transformed into a haunted playground for the weekend. Bryan Duquette, Founder of Another Planet Management, notes the deep cultural connection that Halloween holds for San Francisco: “Halloween has such a rich history in the cultural fabric of San Francisco. We look forward to leaning into this tradition with this year’s Breakaway.”
