Are you ready to clap for the bing bang bong all over again?
Although it has only been five months since Scotland’s Lawrence Chaney snatched the season 2 crown and danced a highland jig of glee, the BBC Three and World of Wonder has officially announced the 12 new queens who will compete on season 3, set to return in September on Wow Presents Plus.
Not only will we see the return of Veronica Green, who had to bow out of Season Two due to a positive COVID-19 diagnosis, but this fierce batch of competitors will also include the franchise’s first ever cis woman, Victoria Scone.
“It feels right,” Victoria says in a statement. “I definitely didn’t invent the art of drag for women. I am not the first, and I certainly won’t be the last. But I feel very capable and proud to have made it through the application process and be the first on Drag Race U.K. Me being here is political, but you can just have fun with it. That’s why I started. I just wanted to entertain people and that’s what we’re going to do! Drag can just be fun!”

Anubis Finch (19), Brighton
Named for the God of the afterlife, Anubis celebrates her Egyptian heritage through her drag and has been in the music industry since her teenage years. She describes herself as “an old lady inside a teenager’s body.”
Charity Kase (24), Lancashire
Charity is known for her drag to be a “creative mash-up” of the Manchester and London scenes and loves creating fantasy from another dimension.
Choriza May (30), Newcastle
Choriza is originally from Valencia, Spain, but now lives in Newcastle. A “sexy mama” and “the queen of drama,” she explains her name with: “I’m Spanish; I have a sausage.”
Elektra Fence (29), Lancashire
Hailing from Burnley, Elektra made her name in London as a dancing queen. She is trained in ballet, freestyle, disco, ballroom, and Latin.
Ella Vaday (32), Essex
The “drag beast from Dagenham East,” Ella is a trained singer, actor, and dancer who has starred in West End shows including Wicked and the Book of Mormon.
Kitty Scott-Claus (29) Birmingham
A self-proclaimed hun, Kitty says she is a little bit of eye candy for the dads and is all about the “Bs”—busty, blonde, and bubbly. She also does a mean Nadine Coyle impression. Perhaps we will see this during Snatch Game?
Krystal Versace (19), Kent
One of the youngest queens of the season, Krystal has been experimenting with makeup since she was 12. She already considers herself to be “the full package.”
River Medway (22), Kent
Hailing from Medway in Kent, River’s drag is camp, feel-good, and shallow. She describes herself as “50 percent British, 50 percent Singaporean, and 100 percent a crossdresser.” She looks forward to exploring her heritage and is ready to shine in the Rusical challenge.
Scarlett Harlett (26), East London
Cheeky and classic, Scarlett is the “cockney princess” and “queen of the East End” who is proud of her council estate roots.
Vanity Milan (29), South London
Even though Vanity has only been doing drag for a year, she says she is like a fart. Silent, but deadly. Vanity says she has already gone from zero to 100, serving “unapologetic Blackness.” She is ready to thrown down and win the crown.
Veronica Green (35), Lancashire
Look who’s back in the house! Forcing to leave due to a positive COVID-19 test, Veronica believes she was supposed to win Season Two. Now, she will not stop until she snatches the crown.
Victoria Scone (27), Cardiff
Talk about making herstory and breaking down barriers! Victoria is the first cis woman to ever compete on Drag Race. A professionally trained singer, actor, and dancer, she is here to have fun and win. Do not underestimate her.
