‘Reggie’ Gallegos-Schwarz lived with his whole heart

‘Reggie’ Ronald L Gallegos-Schwarz, animal-lover, gardener, lover of country air, uncle and life partner to Kevin Schwarz for 23 years, died age 56 on Jan. 13, 2012.
Gallegos-Schwarz was born on December 1, 1955 in Alamosa, attended Brighton High School and Barnes Business School and was a waiter at River City Grill in Sterling.
“Everything Reggie did was with his whole heart, whether it was feeding a baby calf or waiting on a customer,” said Gallegos-Schwarz’ uncle, Larry Gallegos. “His sparkle and whirlwind will truly be missed.”
Gallegos-Schwarz’ wake was Feb. 18 at his farm in Brush, Colorado and his funeral was held at 1 p.m., Feb. 19 at United Methodist Church in Fort Morgan.
