Azucar Bakery Needs Our Help!

Last week, we brought you the story of Denver’s own Azucar Bakery, the South Broadway institution that refused to bake a Bible-shaped cake with anti-gay rhetoric on the top.

The story went international and owner Marjorie Silva hopes that’s a good thing.

Now that she’s being inundated with press and international attention, she’s asking the community for help securing legal services, to avoid “putting her foot in her mouth.”

She’s created a Go Fund Me page to drum up the cash needed to ensure that her refusal to make a so-called “hate-cake” won’t potentially cost her the business.
