Professional Strongman, Rob Kearney, Comes Out As Gay

Rob Kearney, runner up of the 2013 World’s Strongest Man competition, came out as gay by acknowledging his boyfriend via facebook on October 21. He had previously not been public with his sexuality or relationships.

His post used the hashtag “#MCM” which stands for “Man Crush Monday.”

Kearney is believed to be the first openly homosexual man to compete in international strongman competitions.
