Thanks, (Michelle) Obama!

First Lady Michelle Obama spoke to a crowd of more than 1500 today at Exdo Events Center. Mrs. Obama was campaigning for Senator Mark Udall’s re-election. Other speakers included Colorado State Senator Michael Bennet and Congresswoman Diana DeGette.

Key points in her speech included Udall’s support for marriage equality, clean energy, affordable education and health care, comprehensive immigration reform, women’s reproductive rights, equal pay for equal work, and the unequivocal importance of voting — especially with the race between Senator Udall and Congressman Cory Gardner being so close.
