Adams County Marriagepalooza 2024
This year will feature the second annual Marriagepalooza, and it’s just around the corner. This mass wedding ceremony event will take place on Saturday, June 8 at the Adam’s County Pride Fest for any interested couples. Marriagepalooza is on stage from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. The rest of the event will include many other interactive activities, food, and drink.
Marriagepalooza will again be officiated by drag queen Stella Diver, who was featured in 2023’s 10 Freshest Faces of Colorado Drag in Westword Magazine and the founder of Bi The Beach, the all-inclusive queer dance party. Drag queen AllSpyce, featured in Westword‘s article and in multiple brunch performances at Revival Denver Public House, is acting as Maid of Honor as she did last year as well.
Marriage or civil union licenses can be purchased at the Adams County Clerk & Recorder’s Office through June 7. Anyone who wants a limited edition of the Pride marriage license can apply here to get their own.
Once you are issued a license, you are registered to attend the mass ceremony and get married.
Located at Riverdale Regional Park, 9755 Henderson Rd. Brighton from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m, Pride Fest is a family-friendly event with all-day entertainment, including artists, music, food, and more. Special performances by Kerrie Joy, Cal Duran, Meca’Ayo, Brandon Vargas, and Babe Walls will be featured.
DJ Buddy Bravo will be taking the main stage from 11 a.m.-noon, noon-1 p.m. features May Be Fern and 1:30-2:30 p.m. will feature Marriagepalooza. From 2:30-3:30 p.m., check out drag queen story hour, With the day ending with the 4 – 5 p.m. drag show.
Rainbow Dome will also be featured with their pop-up roller rink, including free skate rentals and beats from DJ Demi, Vicky Burp, and S.t3ve. Their will also be groovy skating performances at 12, 1, and 2 p.m.
