Mannequin Pussy Announce New Album ‘I Got Heaven’ and 2024 North America Tour
With their new album I Got Heaven set to release this year and an upcoming 2024, North America Tour, Mannequin Pussy continues to hit the air waves.

The upcoming album I Got Heaven is set to release March 1 on Epitaph Records, and fans are eager for the upcoming 2024 North America Tour. Three songs from the album, “Sometimes,” “I Don’t Know You,” and “I Got Heaven,” have been released.
Mannequin Pussy, a popular American punk and indie LGBTQ+ band, received praise for their critically acclaimed 2019 album Patience. The members of the band, Colins Regisford, Kaleen Reading, Maxine Steen, and Marisa Dabice, represent a side of music that does not align with the all too common stereotype of a straight, white male rockstar.
While we can all agree that those ass-tight-bedazzled-leather-hair-metal fits were quite fabulous, Mannequin Pussy offers representation that appeals to our fabulous selves a bit more than leather. Elated fans witnessed the musical prowess of Mannequin Pussy when they toured Colorado last year and with the upcoming tour the band is sure to stir crowds.

“There’s just so much constantly going on that feels intentionally evil that trying to make something beautiful feels like a radical act, ” says vocalist Marisa Dabice. “The ethos of this band has always been to bring people together.”
After the release of their single “I Got Heaven,” the upcoming album was met with similar excitement, with Stereogum putting the single on their best songs of the week list when it came out.
Exclaim! describes the single as “an absolute rager, with Dabice grappling with ideas of purity and Christian Salvation over pummelling verses that bloom into a gorgeous shoegazy chorus.”
The Philadelphia band’s fourth LP explores fundamental human questions that push the boundaries of how with pursue life. With countless references to fire, hunger, and holiness on the song released so far, the album confronts the issues that arise from aspects of humanity that result in a world that often feels unkind.
Whether exploring Christian hypocrisy, the complexities of love (and rejection), or the plethora of emotions tied to the human experience, I Got Heaven offers audiences distorted-punk to energetic-pop guitar riffs and grippingly authentic lyrics.

“We’re supposed to be living in the freest era ever so what it means to be a young person in this society is the freedom to challenge these systems that have been put on to us,” says Dabice. “It makes sense to ask, what ultimately am I living for? What is it that makes me want to live?”
With their upcoming tour featuring the band Soul Go set to start in April, Colorado fans can expect two tour dates coming to their local area. On May 4, they will be playing the Bluebird Theater in Denver, and on May 5, they will be playing at the Aggie Theatre in Fort Collins.
So buy your tickets, put in your preorders and get ready for a queer punk show coming to your local area.
