Welcome to the pages of OUT FRONT MAGAZINE. One can only wonder what the future holds for us and our country. Will ALL Americans be blessed with the opportunity to have quality affordable healthcare, or will there still be disparities? Take the time to become introduced to the America’s Affordable Health Choices Act of 2009 beginning on page 14. With the increase of chronic diseases in the African-American community as well as steadily rising healthcare costs, we cannot remain silent. Get educated, do your research regarding this proposal, stand up and let your voice be heard.
Another year is nearing closure. Take time to realize that the “things” that are most important in life are not “things.” Always value the relationships you have with God, family and friends.
