In 1987, in a home basement offi ce, Amos Otis founded SoBran Inc., with one employee— himself—and no immediate revenue. By 1995, SoBran had grown to 26 employees with annual revenue of $1.1 million, and had moved out of Otis’ basement into corporate offi ces in Dayton, Ohio.
